    We are here to Know God. We serve a Real God and genuinely follow Him through the way we live.

    Matthew 22:36-40

    36 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

  2. Growing Relationships

    We are here to Find Freedom. We are a church that welcomes and cares. We are Relational by growing together as a family.

    John 13:33-35

    33 “Dear children, I will be with you only a little longer. And as I told the Jewish leaders, you will search for me, but you can’t come where I am going. 34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

  3. The Ministry of the Believer

    We are here to Discover Purpose. We are a church of individuals called by God on Purpose, for a purpose.

    1 Corinthians 12:25-27

    25 “This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other. 26 If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. 27 All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.”

  4. The Lost

    We are here to Make a Difference. We are a church that prays and acts. We are Relevant by focusing on what matters to God.

    Matthew 28:18-20

    18 “Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

OUR Beliefs

IC Medan is a member of the Sumatra Utara I District of the Assemblies of God churches, known in Indonesia as “Gereja Sidang-Sidang Jemaat Allah” (GSJA).

Tim & Kelly have served as the lead pastors of IC Medan since 2022. Both are originally from the United States and have served in Indonesia since 2017.

They have 3 kids who love serving together as a family.
